Karl J Alam

 I am a creative professional with a unique blend of experience across filmmaking, entertainment production, and client focused business roles. With formal training in Entertainment Business and Film Production from The Los Angeles Film School, complemented by studies in Hospitality and Communications at San Diego State University, I bring both creative vision and operational discipline to my work.

Over the past several years, I’ve worked hands on across theatrical and film productions, developing a deep appreciation for storytelling, collaboration, and execution. My experience spans the full production lifecycle, from pre production planning and logistics to producing, editing, fundraising, communications, asset management, marketing, and sales. At the core of my work is a focus on the human experience and creating content that is both compelling and grounded in reality.

Alongside my creative work, I’ve built a strong foundation in sales, customer service, and account management. Currently, I work at SHI, where I partner closely with clients to understand their environments, simplify complex challenges, and guide them toward thoughtful, effective solutions. This dual background allows me to bridge creative and strategic teams, communicate clearly under pressure, and deliver results that align vision with execution.

I thrive in collaborative environments, value meaningful relationships, and bring a positive, disciplined approach to every project. Outside of work, I prioritize health and fitness, enjoy exploring the outdoors, and spend time with my rescue pitbull, Rita. These pursuits keep me grounded, focused, and energized.
